I was expecting a lot more from this fight. Not from HMC but from Badr… I would have like to have seen him more active. Compared to HMC he’s on another level as far as talent and ability. I’m sure it’s very difficult to fight someone as huge as HMC.
I’ve got to give it some real thought… but does Hari have a shitty chin? Any of you know anything about that? I’m sure HMC is capable of generating some serious power behind his punches, but the one that landed didn’t appear to be that hard.
It was great to see Hari come alive though, he found that liver shot and just worked it… I’m not sure what happened in the end though… I wonder if Badr broke one of his floating rips…
The announcer actually mentions at one point the the HMC camp thinks that Hari has a week chin.
I’m not impressed with Hari’s game plan. He wanted KO badly, always pushing forward with punches. That cost him a KD. Speaking of that, he has pretty week chin compared to the other elite fighters I think.

For a heavyweight, anyone can get ko’ed with one punch.
Except Mark Hunt.
I think you guys underestimate the advantage in power someone of that size has, he’s a lot slower and so but when you do get a hit cleanly we wouldn’t be standing up, same way when you get hit by a bob sapp or something.
Glad that Badr won though, would have hated it if that freak choi got through.. And yes Mark Hunt has one of the best chins ever,a well placed Mighty Mo punch could ko him too in one I think:) a crocop kick has done the job once but that’s a lot harder than a punch;)

I have to tell you as much as I really can’t stand K-1 this actually was a significant improvement. That said yeah it was kind of bad.
HMC is the biggest pile in K1 history.
i don’t really like hari too much either. i enjoy watching him fight but he’s a smug looking motherfucker. a knockout either way would’ve been nice.
HMC is a Monster with no Techinque, I think he could use his “Potential” in Dream or MMA(Even though Fedor Beat him), cause his punches and Kicks Suck.
HMC is a nice guy, but he’s more appropriate for the circus than for martial arts.
That’s exactly what I hate about K-1, it’s a damn freak show.
oh man HMC is enormous! It’s obvious he just hopes to get that one good punch in every fight… not a good strategy!
