I did a post on Hiroya Abe a couple of months ago. He’s a 15/16 year old fighter who’s been training at Kaewsamrit in the “Kok”. Kaewsamrit is the home Anuwat. He’s being groomed by K-1 to be the next Masato. Again big thanks to Kevin1813 for sharing. Noritaka didn’t have a chance, I’m sure most of you don’t know about this but Hiroya is actually Son Goku. Seriously though Noritaka reminded me of one of the those jiggly finger puppets. What was up with his hands? If he was trying to distract me with his hands he did a great job.
I don’t know anything about Noritaka, but I can’t imagine he’s had that many fights. I think moving forward he’s going to be familiarizing himself with how to defend a leg kick. Hats off Hiroya for a good fight.

hiroya has very fast low kick.

I like the kid’s instincts. He had his guy hurt and went in for the kill. Pretty good hands for such big gloves.

so finally k1 (and japan presumably) concedes that training in a muay thai camp like kaewsamrit beats training in their wannabe kickboxing or karate dojos when it comes to grooming k-1 calibre fighters. hiroya is good, though, muay thai or no muay thai. good luck to him.
but i wonder, would he stand a chance against boys his own age if he went to, say, lumpinee?

I just hope they don’t sacrifice him to Buakaw like they did Ologun (At least not until he gets better).
