Really looking forward to the fight tonight, should be a very good one. Anyway, came across this vid today… it talks about Manny’s lesser known opponents which most of you should be familiar with.

Really looking forward to the fight tonight, should be a very good one. Anyway, came across this vid today… it talks about Manny’s lesser known opponents which most of you should be familiar with.
He was unbelievable Cotto looked bemused totally outclassed
domination
that was pretty nuts wasn’t it. I honestly didn’t think it was going to be so one sided…
so is what do you think, is Mayweather going to happen?
It was pretty even until Cotto got floored in the 4th. That left hook/uppercut was the one punch that changed the fight. That was the turning point.
Even after being knocked down in the 3rd, Cotto was still coming back strong and finished the 3rd round strong. But after the 4th, there was only Manny…
I am a fan of the Pacman but I have tons of respect for Cotto. He is a decent and humble man and he doesn’t shoot his mouth like many other boxer. He was a sportsman till the end. Hats off! Now I’m a Cotto fan too.
“Money” Mayweather, now it’s time to put your money where your mouth is. No more excuses, put up or shut up. This is no longer about the pay-out. It’s about the right to be called the true pound-for-pound champ.
IVE HAD MUCHO RESPECT for cotto before the fight. mayweather aint ever gonna fight pacman. i never liked de la hoya too much but at least he had the balls to fight him.
Well, Mayweather has nowhere to run/hide now.
During an interview before the Pacman-Cotto fight, Mayweather was saying that he has the largest draw and that he didn’t want to fight Manny because that was not where the money is, blah blah blah….
Now, everything is clear. There is no other more worthy opponent in the Pacman and there will not be a bigger PPV fight than Pacman vs. Mayweather. So in terms of both money and boxing, this has to be it.
No more excuses, Mayweather!
That fight ws insane Cotto has big big heart hes tough as nails to take that level of punishment for 12 rounds.Pacmans hand speed and footwork are unbelivable one of the most enjoybale boxing fights iv seen in a while!
first, much respect to cotto, he went out like a warrior…he’s just never seemed the same since margarito busted him up with those loaded gloves…
it’d be nice to see “money” fight mosley first if only to make floyd/pacman a true, undisputed welter battle…whether it’ll happen is anybody’s guess although shane’s been calling him out…
by the time it’s made though, who knows what kind of shape either will be in? six months to a year is a long time in a boxer’s skill set…look at hamed…
how was manny able to move from fly (112) to 140 + w/o losing speed/strength…pretty amazing..
Gents, looks like we are in the presence of an all time great in Pacquiao. His accomplishments in the ring are astounding:
7x world championships
wins against 2 boxing Hall of Famers (Barerra, Morales)
beatdown of DLH, destruction of Hatton
and now a one sided beating of one of the best WW in boxing- Cotto.
All this from a guy who started at 108!!
he didnt lose his strength cause he never lost his speed. he has like no body fat.
Yah, speed ads to power. F=m x a
He also gets a lot of his power from his legs. His footwork makes it possible for him to throw hard punches from different angles. He always has a wide stance. Strong foundation.
