Here’s the latest from our boy Bovy… he’s been fighting shootboxing rules in Japan quite a bit on the Shooto shows. This clip is from just a couple of days ago. I had a chance to catch up with Bovy last week, I’ll be posting that interview sometime next week.
It looks like he’s starting to get a taste for shooto, although I suspect a lot of his moves come from watching WWE. Many thanks to galaxyjill for the upload. Enjoy!

That was ace!!!!!!That style actually suits Bovy now.I know hes not known as a kicker but the man can kick, wish he would do it a bit more within his combos.Everytime bocy takes a clean shot to the head tho it makes me cringe.Really enjoyed this tho!!

Seeing as how Drago was in K1, I would think around 147 or 154?
Also, I think that since Bovy is more hydrated, he is taking shots much better.

Bovy sucha badass! His whole style seemed to of changed slightly. He doesn’t just walk forward and take shots, he’s more illusive and on his toes! Amazing fight!!!

Ha that was fun to watch! Don`t see why that wont pick up here stateside given the popularity of collegiate wrestling. Hell you got judo/wrestling takedowns combined with stand up and you got a great show..order some wings and a keg of Heinie and we got guys night in!

that fight was at 71kg (they mention it a couple of times at the start). I’m beginning to think it’s neigh impossible to knock bovy out!
