Excellent interview Nopstar. I agree with most of Rob's observations and had similar thoughts from my last Thailand trip a couple months ago.

I've said it before but I'll say it again: Nopstar your interviews are excellent. Thx for that.

Regarding what Rob said about gamblers influencing the rules: I still don't understand why it is in the gamblers' interest to favor the strong wrestler over the technical striker when it comes to scoring. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks.

Rob is by far the best and most balanced muay thai journalist for English speakers any where. no one even comes remotely close to the quality of his articles.

Very nicely done Matt.

Enjoyed the interview. Rob does a very nice job keeping up with MuayThai Focus as well. Speaking of......Does anyone know if there will be a bout between Saenchai and Kaew Fairtex for the Lumpini Title @ Superfeather any time soon? Kaew is the #1 contender atm. I think this fight would be amazing!

Excellent interview. I'm always interesting in hearing about the culture and current situation of Muay Thai in Thailand. Cool info on the status of the Bangkok scene compared to the NE and South, as well as on the class aspect and the influence of gambling.
