Many thanks djsexstyle for the post… this is the one I’ve been looking forward to all week.  This was ’s S-Cup debut…

Props to Imada for being able to stay on his feet for so long.  I think about 1:40 in is where Buakaw can taste payday.  It’s safe to assume that Imada has never faced leg kicks like that in his MMA career.  It was pure abuse… my trainer Neungsiam used to call this lai teh moo… which is kicking the pig.  I don’t know why Imada didn’t stick with his throws, it’s how he beat souwer… don’t know why he abandoned his rush and tackle strategy.

  1. As soon as Imada winched on that leg kick buakaw sensed blood and zeroed in on it. Fight was all over for Imada at that point. I gota give it to Imada for sticking in there.. he was in hella pain from rd 1. A pity Andy Sower was out early.. I think it wuda been a better Finale but cant complain coz it was sweet to see buakaw lay in those leg kicks.. Reminded me of his fight with Kohiruimaki

  2. because he got dumped than got kneed by buakaw. after that his tackle shit was out the door.

  3. i like how imada had great heart but didnt have that usual japanese toolishness about him.

  4. what a show of heart, thats awesome. the crowd was loving it!

definately inspiring. inspiring me to block more.

  5. hahaha

  6. @SE, hes filipino.

  7. ok thats weird. wow he fights out of LA and was born on 4-20. i have not known one single filipino with that ‘kind’ of last name. imada is indeed a japanese last name. ive heard of filipinos claiming fto be filipino-chinese, but i dont know whats going with this dudes name here. maybe hes of mixed heritage or its a ring name. maybe some pinoys can chime in.

  8. I like how imada came out blazin in the 2nd even though he was hurt. The difference in speed and power between the two is like night and day. Seeing how fast and hard buakaw throws then imada. I wouldnt want to be hit by buakaw no thanks

  9. Imada doesn’t have the typical Japanese kickboxer prettyboy douchebaggyness about him because he’s an American MMA fighter.

He has sick Judo BTW, so Buakaw being able to nullify it shows alot about what the Muay thai clinch can do against a good Judoka.

It’s funny because i was debating with my friend about this, he said the Muay Thai clinch is useless against Judo, but i said, throw on some gloves, fight a Thai who’s been clinching 8-10 hours a week all his life, and allow knees and elbows to be thrown and we’ll see how useful your judo is.

  10. Oh and yeah, he’s mixed.

  11. good to see Buakaw getting ruffed up a bit brings out best in him
    thanks for the upload

  12. It takes alot to keep shooting and driving in for takedowns regardless of if its your forte. Combine that with the fact that Buakaw is tenderizing Imada’s lead leg killing his mobility and ability to drop levels, and the fact that Buakaw has an excellent sense of balance/clinchwork and uses the ropes well, It doesn’t look like the much more fatigued Imada has much of a choice but to throw. Incredible guts and heart from Imada and it is very cool to see Buakaw make some adjustments to impose his game.

  13. To me S-Cup is more fun to watch than K-1. Iti s definitely better for MT fighters. Great to see Buakaw taking this and props to Imada making it to the finals and survived those vicious leg kicks.

  14. anyone know how much damage Imada took from Andy Sower on the legs…. obviously Baukaw kicks hard just curious if Andy smashed him up a little before hand cause he didnt take to many and was already hurt right away…

Good to see baukaw still able to geta decent payday….K1 can go suck a goat!

  15. yoyo! sup guys this is jon and let me start by saying Toby is NOT Philipino hes JAPANESE & MEXICAN and it was an honer for me to corner him in all 3fights.. like u guys kno hes a MMA guy so tha kicks started by Takaaki Umeno to tha right side of tha body started accumilating early on Souwer did his wrk on his legs too but Souwer wanted to trade punches abit more which lead to him getting tossed as well Toby’s first 2 fights were all good hard fights, Baukaw on tha otherhand had 2 easy fights i watched both of them i don’t think he broke a sweat..
So we face Baukaw in tha finals and honestly everybody didnt expect us to get that far Toby tossed Buakaw once but Buakaw did what he does best and that was kick like a mule Toby kept taking it and getting up but we all know you cant do that too long especially with Buakaw end result too many leg kicks for Toby…. Very good showing by Toby and Baukaw looked on point every fight looked like he did acouple years ago!!!

  16. and BTW guys we dont train outta LA we train outta San Diego California!!!

  17. @jonjon1981, i was sure they announced that hes filipino before his mma fight against eddie alvarez, it also said it in his wikipedia. how did you know hes japanese-mexican? whats his father or mother name?

  18. are you sure baukaws fights were easy or did it just appear that way because of his superior skill level???

  19. @Samb0 tha reason i know hes mexican and japanese is hes a very good friend of mine and i cornered him at the S-Cup for the whole turnament, @muaythaiguy yes his fights were very easy his first fight was against a guy he beat in tha
K-1 MAX turnament in like 1minute he Ko’d him then he fought a young fighter from Andy’s camp very much still green but they all tryed there best but he jus toyed with them but non tha less Baukaw’s skill leveal is jus that damn good i honestly looked at him after his second fight and didnt see 1 drop of sweat on him…
