Happy birthday Bruce! I had no idea Bruce would have been this old. What a better way to celebrate his birthday by having some Thai and Chinese guys pound the snot out of each other. It’s seems like every time the Chineses Sanda guys want a fight they call on the Big Boss, Ang Mo of Chuwattana to supply the talent.
I would love to see these Sanda guys in Raja under muay thai rules… but to be honest I don’t think anyone would be interested. I was on the plane watching this… I was really getting fired up, particularly the match up with Jomthong. Lot’s of Oiiiiie’s coming from 50B I got a few looks from the other passengers… especially when Jomthong started showing him his elbow. Seeing a nak muay with elbow pads really pisses me off…
The line up was fairly diverse, on the muay thai side of house in addition to these two guys, Nong Toom, Big Ben, and Simon Marcus completed the roster.

1) It’s hilarious how Li Teng celebrated like he just scaled Mount Everest when he took Jomthong down. A little over-eager to celebrate a small victory…
2) Man, I forgot what it looked like when a Thai gets both hands behind the head and controls completely for knees. I can’t remember the last time I saw a professional bout get to that point. It seems even the other styles that fight Muay Thai from time to time have figured out that you don’t allow a Thaiboxer to clinch you fully like that.
3) What was up with Li Teng’s cup??? The ref helped him adjust it at least 5 times. That was a little disturbing! LOL

I thought it was hilarious when Li Teng turned his back and ran away just before getting KO’d !

Good work, Jomthong. When the ref keeps stopping the fight to fondle Li Teng’s cup and butt… is that part of Sanda too? Just curious.

What a Awesome idea, In memory of a Martial Arts Legend. I bet that would be something Sifu Bruce Lee would have wanted to see. People fighting in his memory :)
