Oh man, he looked like he had some serious roid rage going on, and it was great! I'm surprised Belani didn't shit his pants when Bovy was marching forward, shouting and elbowing him in the face.

Level #3 super combo..hahhaha now I feel like playing street fighter as sAGAT AND pretend it is Bovy the Ox man.
Bovy took hits..best part was Belani was hitting him as he was constantly walking back...How we kept managing to walk fwd against him was beyond me..but then again I never could relate to oxen. Great war..thank you for the upload

wow...i figured that Bovy is actually a guy of extreme good temper...he just needs the 1min+ punching into his face to start his fire...haha...iron chin! Not good to trade your punches & elbows with him...

Maybe Bovy's style won't last, but he's a scary mofo and strong as hell. What a performance.
I think Belani is lucky, that cut saved him or he would get murdered.

Bovy translates to ox, I think=) What a stalwart fighter..head down..horns up and kept walking through combos to get inside and work 'bows. I think the more Rashid hit him the more energy he got..kinda like a Street Fighter video game! Oh and for the Rock, paper scissors analogy..well I can`t agree on that simplicity. The joints generate alot of force due to body mechanics and strong bone development due to our body`s work needs..but are a waste if you never get close in to use them. I think all weapons are equally as deadly; and a master tactician knows when and where to use them. I can try 8 weapons all day long against my khru but never get close enough to simulate an elbow..nor clinch long enough to get more than 2 good knees before I end up as mat fodder. ALl in the user, in my view

Bovy is a badass, but that style will not last too long. Anuwat has that style and he is not quite as dominant anymore.

I'd still say kicks are more devastating than punches. The lack of knockouts just comes down to simple mechanics - you lose tons of power kicking at head height, and there's only really one angle for a kick to come in from.
That said, I think lots of knockouts are a result of good kicking - smashed arms and bodies drop the guard and make defense against punches much slower.

Bovy is absolutely crazy!...in the best way possible. I know he has an iron chin, but I was just thinking, "man...he's going to get KO'd if this goes on too long".

And I'd disagree with fists over kicks. I think it is more complicated than that. It depends on which side you kick with and which side you punch with (as well as where you are targeting), I think.

Each technique is it's own unique weapon in when it is most effective and how it lands on the body! So a right low kick might be trumped by a straight right hand, but a straight left might be trumped by a left kick that lands across the body.

Also, I'd make an argument that there are just as many KO's by high kick in full MT rules as their are by punches.

Even then, those examples can probably be reversed. Just food for thought...
