War! I don’t know if Bovy said some shit about Pinca’s mom prior to the fight, but dude came ready to rumble. This is one of the crazier fights I’ve seen this year. As always props to Gusnark for sending this to me.

Seriously, I like how they neglected to show any of Pinca’s elbows during the replays… fuckers. It pains me to watch Bovy fight, it’s crazy how much damage this guy takes. It pains me because in a few years, there’s a strong possiblity he’s going get “punchy”.

Great fight! Bowi is a stubborn character. I like Pinca’s technique specially His ability to fight in the south paw stance. both showed tremendous heart.
Bovy is awesome. I heard a rumor that he got into an accident as a child and they put steel inside his chin! He almost had the frenchie down! Someone should teach Bovy some muay thai! He’d be really good if he knew how to do something besides punch… although he punches like popeye!

Now I’d like to see Pinca get KOed
that Pinca is a dirty cheating prick and that referee was a fucking disgrace and I whole heartedly agree even the editing of the replays was in favour of pinca.Id love to see this fight under FTR

That fight was really frustrating to watch. It’s hard to tell b/c it’s in french and I don’t speak french, but it seemed that Pinca threw elbows with impunity but when Bovy retaliated he got docked everytime. I can’t blame Bovy, they pointed out the elbows (with Bovy’s cornerman even going to the Pinca’s corner to tell them no more elbows, LOL) but it kept happening. I would’ve started throwing elbows too.

Bovy has been in some exceedingly hard and rough fights. He’s always entertaining but i have to admit I am impressed to see him still at as I know he had issues due to some of his injuries of the past.

the thing that actually stuck in mind the most is that pica’s trainer, during the middle of the fight, gets into and walks across the ring during the down to put pinca’s mouthguard back in. the ref sees him and does nothing…WHAT?!?! that’s an INSTANT DQ! wow. what was his corner thinking?!? what was the ref thinking?!?
BOVY! I love dat guy…So much heart! Bullshit, hold on…..let me clear my throat…..BULLSHIT on da one sided ref. Pinca would have gotten destroyed by Bovy’s elbows! Dont get me wrong I think Pinca is bout it, but it seemed like Bovy was not gunna win unless he KO’d him! Did sumone count how many Power punches was thrown? Amazing fight! Thanks for the upload!

I agree Loco. If you remember when Yod fought Villaume in France the first time, Yod obviously won and they called it a draw. Then he came back a few months later and KO’d him in the 3rd. Bottom line…When Thais fight the French in France, gotta get the KO to win.
I totally agree with manant about the fouls and the ref.
Fabio definitely out pointed Bovy but B has some hands on him and made him look bad in the last round with the jabs. I wanted to see Fabio get kicked out of the ring though.

by the way, does Bovy always fights this way? i rem there was a prev vid which saw him taking a lot of punches before K.Oing his opponent…
LOL…so funny that even the ref couldn’t control the “elbows outbreak”…Bovy has shorter reach, i guess tt’s why he’s always cutting the distance and punching…at 10:19, Pinca was fed up with Bovy cutting the distance and threw an elbow to do close combat..Bovy obviously got angry by the elbow and probably sworn vengeance silently to himself that he will K.O Pinca with elbow..So exciting match with so many counts taking place alternative btwn 2 sides….
I was talking with Malaipet last night and he said that his brother is set to fight Pinca in Las Vegas in 2 months under full MT rules. He said his brother has been training quite hard so hopefully Pinca will get smashed. Definitely the referee was blind in one eye.
I don’t think that this fight was as one-sided as everyone is making it out to be. It seemed to me that the ref would only stop the elbows when there was more than one thrown at a time. If you look at Bovy’s elbows, he was throwing big, heavy combos. Both fighters fought with aggression and they both fought a bit dirty. It happens, no reason to be bent out of shape. I don’t think that Pinca would get destroyed under Full Rules Muay Thai. If you watch, Pinca blocked one of Bovy’s elbows so he may be better in Muay Thai than everyone is giving him credit. Regardless, I enjoyed the fight and hopefully his next fight is as tense, it’s nice to see battles.

Well….The commentators were very fuckin’ annoyin ( so for those of you who don’t understand french this was actually a blessing ). I thought commentators were supposed to be neutral but those were worst than groupies. Actually, after a while it really started to just become comical.
As far as the ref, I believe that he honestly, simply lost control of the fight! I don’t think he was siding with Fabio because if you pay attention he walked up to Fabio’s trainers and told them that elbows wouldn’t be tolerated (the trainers kinda mushed him away….lol).
I’m french so I’m not gonna say “FUCK THE FRENCH” besides, I’m smart enough to know better than to condemn a whole nation over the stupidity of a few. Bovy is a G…I’ll agree wit that part.
