Bovy Sor. Udomson

August 11, 2008 by nopstar

One of the highlights of living out here in the UK is my proximity to the Slamm events. These guys do a great job building interest in their fights. We’re about 3 months away and they’ve already begun to roll out some promotional footage.

Many thanks to Richelieu for posting and sharing the vid.  The two new faces for this years line up are Bovy Sor. Udomsorn and Lamsongkram Chuwattana.

Here’s the interview with Bovy, the guy translating is Rob Cox.

If you guys are wondering how he’s had 300+ stitches on his dome you should check this his fight against Nopparat.  I think it’s fairly representative of his fights… The guy’s a savage… it’s all about power and punishment with Bovy.   I’m curious who they’ll feed to him.

I’m a big fan of Bovy. This guy is tough as all hell. I don’t know if his style presents the smartest fighting strategy. It seems like the only footwork he knows or uses is advance, advance, advance and just throw bunches of punches or elbows. I’ve seen him lose alot of fights because of it but he’s always entertaining, will never let us down. I can’t wait to see him in the next SLAMM event! It’s great that he’s finally fighting abroad! Go Bovy!

Bovy’s a bull!!! Just watched that fight with nopparat. I could hear some of the body shots he was landing. Sounded like a mallet slapping meat. Hope he does well fighting overseas.

    Man he’s shy.
I like tough guys like Bovy, but I like more tough & technical fighters like Anuwat.
300+ stitches… fighting him means war! I’m wondering who will be his opponent.

I like Bovy too! He’s tough as fuck, but I remember he ran into a brick wall in Anuwat a while back! He uses quite a bit of hand combinations and does take a bit of shots in the process.

    War Bovy!

new member, long time fan of the site.

i love watching bovy vs pet-ake. pet-ake’s knees were lifting bovy off the ground and bovy kept coming forward.

    gnarly looking dome though…

which fight is it that anuwat gets knocked completely out by a thai with black shorts? it’s one where the opponent is throwing uppercut then overhand right over and over….
