Came across this one on K-1Fans the other day… it’s from back in April. When I was last back in Thailand, I saw Bovy at Rajadomnern… i stopped to ask him about his fresh scar tissue on his face, he replied that he just had a lot of fun fighting in Japan. I guess this was the “Fun” he’s talking about.
Per Bovy it isn’t pretty but, it’s still entertaining. Many thanks to fightreloaded for the upload and sharing. Enjoy!

dan – do you really need someone to tell you he has brain damage? dude gets 8 counted, gets up and hops around like he just won the lottery! he must have smush-brain from all the shots he takes. it’d be a miracle if he didn’t.

I’ve seen him fight on a few occassions lately, and I can count the number of kicks I’ve seen him throw on my hands… Dude is looking for body shots that lead to head shots.
He’s also partial to a long knee when he’s standing nose to nose with a fighter. It’s actually painful to watch him fight… You can see his eyes roll back when he get’s rocked.
Not sure If I agree with the ref… don’t think he should have stopped it… maybe he just wanted to protect the japanese fighter.
This is the shit that sells tickets. Promoters love him because they know exactly what to expect. He know this is what the crowd and promoters like to see. He’s going to keep this up for as long as he has some motor skills…
I don’t like to see it, but such is life.

I think Bovy feels he has to fight like this but I would appreciate the same tenacity with a little more defense I almost get ill watching him fight… he won’t be able to enjoy his money like this for real.
