What’s up west coast MMT people, looks like you guys have a great show coming up in less then a month. It’s being thrown by Lion Fight Promotions a Las Vegas based fight company.  It appears the people at Lion are trying to go the MT only route, which is commendable. It appears to be a nice mix of west coast and Thai talent.

If I was out west I would definitely supporting this show.  If you haven’t already purchased your tickets you can do so here.

The main event is a rematch of Malaipetch and Manaquil.  Should be interesting, hopefully Malaipetch will take his conditioning more seriously then he did with Kevin.

Our man Kevin is going to be facing Sitisak Chengsimew Gym… who I just saw fight at the Rajadomnern birthday show less then a month ago.  To be honest, since I wasn’t really looking for him, I can’t recall anything remarkable about the fight.

He was also on the Lumpini vs. Rajadomnern show a couple of years ago where he defeated Singtongnoi on points.  You can study his clip here, he’s in the red (Kevin)  He’s apparently known for his strong clinch and knee attacks.

Anyway who’s headed to this?

  1. Im almost certain to be heading to the Fights. We have alot of people from the gym heading there on a “Tournaround Bus” but im gonna be driving there with my chick and staying the nite.
I rarely pass up an opportunity to see LIVE full rules Muay Thai when its nearby and the stateline Card is pretty good so Im sure to be there with a smile on my face and A cold beer in my hand.

I would love some pics if you can take some

      • I’ll do my best to get you some shots as I have a measly Nikon10 Meg camera.

One of the Kru’s at my gym did a training session with Mananquil recently( so I heard) so I just might be able to get my “foot in the door” at the arena and get some good up close photos.

  2. My husband is friends with one of the fighters and we have ring side seats! Im looking forward to it!!
