Hello American nak muay’s we’re a little over 2 weeks away from the “battle in the desert 2″ The event is being headlined by MMT contributor, Kevin Ross and Pittsburgh Muay Thai’s Mark Deluca.
If you haven’t purchased your tickets you can do so here. The other noteworthy fight is Cosmo Alexandre vs. Cyrus Washington. I think I saw somewhere that Cosmo is now training out of Boston? Does anyone know if this is temporary? He’ll be making his US fighting debut, should be interesting.

I’m pretty sure Cosmo is still training out of Team Link with Gonzaga in Worcester (not too far from boston).

Deluca seems like a decent fighter but got taken apart by a tall opponent during the first leg of our tournament. Hopefully he has a better showing against Ross.

The tall opponent was Josh Palmer. He’s just returned to Canada after a few years in Thailand. He recently defeated James France for an ISKA title.
