Anuwat Kaewsamrit vs FahMai

It’s great to see Anuwat fighting MuayThai in Thailand again, it seems like he’s really been making the rounds internationally. Gotta love Anuwats hands… have you ever seen a NakMuay jab to the body? I don’t know how he pulls it off… if you going to jab to the body you’re going to need to have excellent head movement right? If there was one fighter who had worse head movement then Bovy, it might be Anuwat.
This was definitely one of the more entertaining fights I’ve seen in a while. I think this fight is a pretty good example of why Lumpini was trying to restrict the rules around clinching.
On one hand, it’s was a wise move on Fah Mai’s part. Anuwat is known for not liking to be in the clinch, so it’s was the logical strategy for Fah Mai. He was quickly able to neutralize Anuwat’s devastating leg kicks.
I think this was the first time I’ve ever seen a NakMuay land 6 consecutive leg kicks in under 10 seconds… it reminded me of Buakaw v Kohi, but even Kohi had the wherewithal to get the hell out of the way.
Anuwat is scheduled to be in Padova Italy, and Slamm a few weeks later. Looking forward to seeing him in action. This video was via SiamSport TV
WOW! great fight! anuwats hands seem less busy but his leg kicks have been flying more often now. his stance seems more low and boxerish now too. seems his international fighting has changed his style a little bit. he’s put on a lot more muscle too. fahmai looks mean in the clinch though. did he gas out in this fight? what is it about anuwat that always makes his fights so entertaining to watch? he’s never boring.
That’s why he continues to be one of the highest paid NakMuay’s in Thaiand! He definitely brings it.
Anuwat was throwing legs kicks like it was going out of style LOL! Also, interesting was Anuwat’s ‘boxing-style’ stance . Great fight and heart from both fighters.
Woah… if he keeps going like this, he’s going to end up as a K-1 fighter… =) I love watching the iron hands work, thanks Nop…

Anuwat’s display of technics is amazing. FahMai is tough and scary, but he really didn’t stand a chance. Anuwat was highly motivated from the first bell, his determination and powerful kicks were too much for FahMai.
Awesome fighter, I hope he does well in Slamm6.
Fahmai looked like C class fighter in the beginning of the fight. Once he started clinching it was an even match, but damn that’s a lot of shin to thigh to put up with.
