Many thanks to Kimjudas.blogspot.com for the rip. I was slightly conflicted for this one. I’ve never been a big fan of Kraus, hell I’ve never even been a little fan of his. I found myself tonight feeling for the guy.
I think he must know he’s coming to the end of his career. Coming out to rocky the heavy underdog… I had pull for him. His fighting style is completely unsuitable for K-1, I’m amazed he lasted so long.
Towards the second round, I really started getting annoyed with him. Dude, did you forget how to kick? I think I might have seen him throw 3 the entire bout.
Petrosyan, is just too damn good. I would have liked to have seen Kraus catch him with something, but this was a counter fighters (petrosyans) perfect fight. A guy who constantly swings for the fences with little to no kicks at all. Petrosyan was built to fight guys like Kraus. It really didn’t suprise me to see Petrosyan out boxing the boxer, sort of sad really.

LOL, Kraus lifting his hands in the end. Man, I don’t remember seeing Kraus outclassed like this. He left the ring with his face down, the last time I saw him like this was against Direcki and Buakaw in 2005.

LOL yeah you could tell he’s like “Damn it’” I lost again

i remember from the k-1 forum after petrosyan’s fight against askerov, the kids who never saw petro fight before were saying kraus was going to school him. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HA!! ok, sorry. petrosyan’s just a beast!!!

Nice one from Petro, hahaha Gusnark I agree, guess self denial can be big sometimes;)
Actually Kraus did a lot better than I thought he would, I thought he wouldn’t be able to land a single blow and would get knocked out in 2 rounds:p

man, you gotta be kidding me with those kraus flurry punches. that shit is awful. i wish petroysan made him look dumber. good for petro, i hope he goes far. he deserves it. such a hardworking type fighter.

exactly what i expected. with punching and striking like that kraus should be in the ufc. petro made kraus look like an amateur. which is true.

oh and yes mutherfuckers, petrosyan is officially here to rape K1 and show that not only buakaw can beat down some japanese properly.

SE lol.
Yeah, Kraus looked just like some brawler from the street. Petrosyan’s style is just awesome. Love him watching fight.

How long has petro he been fighting.?
It cant be denied,
He’s incredibly skilfull for a farang… its ..like hes grown up in thailand… but his hands are better than most Thai nakmuay

Petro vs Kyshenko i am dying to see. As for this…..completely a one man fight. Kraus just isnt built for K1 but i gotta give it to him being able to take so many hits to the thigh and still stand. Absolutely outclassed and i’m glad after he robbed Buakaw of a well deserved win end of last year.

Petrosyan looked really good in this fight, but that was also due to Kraus’s style as well as his (Petrosyan’s) good combos!

Kraus made Petro look really good in this one. It didn’t even look like he tried to form any kind of strategy (other than his usual one) against a known counter fighter. I usually feel bad for fighters that take a beatdown like that, but not in this case.

WTF????!!!! Just watched Kraus his post fight interview.. What a dickless classless clown he is.. First thing he says is he doesn’t feel like petrosyan is a good fighter, that he just should have been more busier during the fight and that he’s going to watch the fight again:s
Man, until know I couldn’t stomach Kraus as a fighter, but now I’m even more disgusted by his attitude.. That he has the nerve to call a fighter ten times more skilled than him a bad fighter… While almost every fighter competing in K-1 Max is a more complete fighter than him(except Kalakoda:p)

hopefully petrosyan loses finally his respect for kraus and smashes him on the next occasion, just to straighten this point out.
shouldn’t it be frustrating for kraus being a splendid fighter out there in the world against lesser skilled guys but still suffering defeats : p

stino are u serious? His self denial is like a fat ho working a titty bar and expecting to get paid=)i He really cant expect to enter a K1 tourney against a MT fighter and use only his hands and expect to outscore him. Man, I wonder what tape he will be watching
Giorgio..man I love watching him fight. He seems humble, respectful, no cockiness, no showboating..just hard work ethic. Remniscent of our beloved Thai fighters. In my perfect world Petro and Buakaw meet in finals..either one could win for all I care

This fight was like watching a pro vs an amateur.
I hope to see Petrosyan vs Souwer soon.

SE….”oh and yes mutherfuckers, petrosyan is officially here to rape K1 and show that not only buakaw can beat down some japanese properly.” The truest words u ever spoke!!!!!
Kraus never stood a chance and neither will Yuya. Petro had the easiest route to the final…Souwer has the hardest.
Rootin’ for Petrosyan vs Buakaw in the finals……….!!!!!! YEAAAAA!!!!!
Kyshenko shoulda capitalized last year.
