This is the final of the Toyota marathon tournament.  This years 8 man tournament was held in Chiang Mai.  It was a bit of a Thailand vs. Japan line up. The 4 Thai’s representing Thailand were, Kem Sitsongpeenong, Prakaisaeng Gaiyanghadao, Sirimongkol Sitanuparp and Thepsutin Pumphanmuang.

The winner of the finals receives a million baht and a new pickup truck…  The finals are being contested by Kem (blue) and Sirimongkol.  If I understood the announcers correctly they said that Sirimongkol was a two time toyota marathon winner…

Khem is back in his element.  Some of you may have heard he lost in the finals of amateur worlds…  as some of you know, the fighting in amateurs in a lot like point sparring or olympic boxing…   I’m not sure what the hell he was doing there anyway… let’s see if he can redeem himself!

Many thanks to Livemuaythaiguy for the post!
