Many thanks to myap for passing this little jewel on… Every once in a while we’ll stray a bit off the Muay Thai beat and path, but trust me it’s worth it.

You got to check this article in Cracked.com… “5 Martial Artists who lost the Deathmatch to Dignity” You may remember I’ve done similar posts on Seagal and Van Damage. I think the author failed to mention Seagals foray into energy drink biz, as one of Seagals bigger WTF moments. (see exhibit b)
Oh be sure to check out Chuck’s video, who knew his ground game was so tight!

Big thanks to Shane for the heads up! My internet access has been spotty at best. The episodes just keep getting better. A huge thank you to Leexh for the post, I’ll return the favor soon.
I haven’t been able to spend much time on the blog, I’m hoping people aren’t posting any spoilers…

Greetings from the Kok.
I just finished a pretty rough session at Ingram with Fellow MyMuayThai farer Matt Lucas. I had hoped to have the second episode uploaded for your viewing pleasure today… but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I’m sitting here at coffee shop on Silom Ave wishing I had an broadband connection at home. I’ll be in the UK soon enough, I’ll try to get somethig uploaded soon.
Last week I mentioned that JWP was set to meet Kozo Takeda. I’ll try to find and post the fight as soon as I can get a hold of it.

I’ve read a summary of the fight on K-1 fans but, It’s almost unintelligible, so I’ll spare you. Anyway, from what I understand, JWP got off to a bit of a slow start, from some of the pics it looks like Kozo got a couple of his famous leg kicks. Read more

A couple of fights to report to you guys… a few days ago Kaoklai and Sinbi were mixing it up with the Hangooks.

Initially I was pretty psyched to see Kaoklai was back in the saddle. He’s had a string of pretty crushing defeats. I’m including a clip with the HL from the bouts. Read more

So today I bid San Francisco a very fond farewell. It’s strange to leave a place you love. I’ve lived all over but I’ve always had a sense that those places weren’t home, I’ve never really felt rooted in those places.

It was different with SF… I’ve always anticipated that this was going to be my home. I guess In the end you’ve just got to go with the flow. The more you cling the more it hurts, so I won’t cling. Read more

I’m not sure how this is going to go down. I hope the powers that be understand… that we are a small but very enthusiastic muay thai community, the very core of their audience. We’re the ones who follow the careers of these fighters, who’ll spend countless hours discussing the show and recommending it to others.
In the spirit of things, try to keep the spoilers to off the comments for now, I’ll do a separate post with a synopsis, those who wish to watch it on TV can skip those posts. Read more
