Before we go any further… people, stop posting spoilers!  We’ll talk about the Contender Asia finals when we get there.   Okay enough of that on to K1…  It’s no secret I’m a Hari fan; he’s really the only reason I bother to watch the heavyweights. If I were still training, I would have trained in my running shorts today ala Badr.

Are these two guys friends? Badr was trying to look all hard and Sefo was like come on kid… Sefo has seen better days that’s for sure.

Dude is looking heavy, and not in an athletic way… like he’s had one too many Krispy Kremes… It must be tiring to go all Clubber Lange on your competition. I have to imagine it has to be very satisfying.

  1. Referee should have stopped it immediately after the second down when it became obvious Ray wasn’t fighting back; all he did was cover up as the punches and knees rained down. A fighter shouldn’t have to take a beating like that for the sake of a clear KO…
    Exciting fight while it lasted.

  2. You’re probably right, Colargol. But I can’t stand Sefo and his stupid smug, shit eating smirk. It only lasted about 45 seconds in this fight.

  3. I have Always Disliked Badr Hari simply because of his Childlike behavior, he isnt a Bad Boy, he is a grown man who needs to stop taking himself, his Macho tendensies so damn seriuosly. We see other examples on how it is possible to be damn good and not get carried away on the big Agro cloud.(Saenchai, JWP, Yod, Etc) Damn i Hate him. And I thought the Graham Knock out woke his little adolecent butt up, but nahh. And Sefo he is over the Hill, why does he even fight(yeah Dollars) anymore, he is embarresing himself, before the Schilt Knockout, he was never KO before(if the Eurosport speaker was correct) So sad to see people age LIKE THAT. Back in the Days he was like very Nimble for such a big man, but now he is just big. Lets See Hari vs Aerts, I need to see another knock out of HARI.

  4. But i Agree with Nop, besides the Fading Bonjasky, nobody is fitter and more Muay Thai than Hari in K1 Heavieweitghts.

  5. This is a perfect example of why you don’t bend down and stay in guard when you get your bell rung. Hari made him pay for that with those knees to the head/torso.

  6. Oh man!…I actually felt bad for Sefo. I think it’s time to hang it up, buddy….U had a great career, but unless you really, really the money it would be best to leave now and not become a punching bag or a “Filler” fighter. Badr Hari and Bonjasky are the ONLY reason why I watch the HWs. Nobody else is worth it. Thank god for the World Max

  7. Spyda
    My thoughts exactly.

  8. Albert “in the house” Kraus and Sefo – they’re both out of the house now.
Sefo WAS great, sadly can’t say that anymore.

Badr is great, improving himself constantly.
spydaman, don’t forget about Aerts, Feitosa, Jerome…
Actually mostly everyone except teenage mutant turdles Schilt and Choi.

  9. To me….nobody else is worth it…..Aerts is old and too slow for my taste.
I’m not a big fan of Kyukoshin but I do like Feitosa’s high kick…it’s different.
JLB has become irrelevant a lil while ago…don’t get me wrong…I like him but he doesn’t do it for me. I can’t think of anyone who is worth my time….Thank GOD for World Max.

It might be because I’m 160lbs and I focus on speed and technique when training as opposed to power…so I tend to like fighters that are more my style and Badr and Bonjasky and who I can learn and take things from. That’s why I’ll be quick to watch Lumpinee, WBC (lighter weights), S1, Raja, WOrld Max and WCL…..wait…..scratch the last one!

  10. I’m the other way round, at 200lbs. I tend to watch whatever heavyweights I can. There’s a lot of shit on K-1 when it comes to that weightclass, true. But people like Hari and Bonjasky at his prime. (Hell, even Mirko Cro Cop on a good day) are worth watching.

  11. Yeah, we need to see new faces in the ring, youngsters as Hari.

    Schilt vs Hunt:

Schilt gets a nice shot. But can’t wait for a day when we’ll see him in horizontal position.

  12. What ever happened to The Red Scorpion Ignashov?

  13. Im not surprised one bit from the Schilt vs Hunt fight, the only time it looks like it fair fight with Schilts is with another freak giant Choi. I have always noticed that when theres a stand up fight with a guy at least a feet taller than his opponent, he has a significant advantage.

  14. Ray def should hang it up. He through no punches after getting tagged a few times, and covered up. Clear sign of being hurt.
I thought that the face off at the beginning was hilarious.

  15. K-1 definitely needs new talent. This was kind of sad to see.

  16. K1 probably have something against Hunt. His first fight after a long MMA stint and they feed him to Semmy. Wtf? I forget who Hari was up against, but one of his spinning kicks is one of the most impressive and devastating KOs I’ve ever seen.

  17. GregH, Stefan Leko.

  18. - Badr Hari may be arrogant as f***, but he’s talented and real exciting to watch.
    - i still hav love for aerts, jlb, feitosa, etc but yea, they dont do it for me like they used to…
    - I pray on bended knee everyday that the Lord will send someone to put Schilt on the mat with his eyes rolling back…please.

Totally agree with you, he is an excellent fighter, but the attitude just ruined it for me, I still watch him and The KO against Leko was Allright, what was Leko doin not Diving down to avoid it, I remeber watching His LONG Ass Leg swinging forever before connecting with Lekos Head. But Lekos Liver kick was Classic too.
