Ricardo Van Den Bos

We’re still about 2 weeks away from the WBC fights on September 8^th. I’m really looking forward to these fights. I don’t think there has been a Muay Thai card this interesting in a long time.   In that time I’m trying to line up some pre-fight interviews with Michael Mananquil, RaKarm Young and possibly Kaew Fairtex.

One of the guys I’m looking forward to watching is Ricardo Van Den Bos. Bos started training Muay Thai when he was about 12, his parents owned a Muay Thai gym in Holland. When he was 14 it they decided to send his ass to Bangkok to live and train.

Sign the Contender Asia Petition

Hey guys I just got an email from the guys at the Black Thaiger Muay Thai Academy. They’ve showed some initiative and have started a Petition to Get “The Contender Asia” televised in the states, well done.

I’ve checked out the site and read over their terms of service. Everything looks legit, they also have a box you can check to not display your name.

It literally takes 15 seconds to fill this thing out. I’m not sure if a thousand signatures will be enough to pique the interests of Mark Burnett, but you’ve got to start somewhere and every little step counts.

I don’t know about you but I would love to see The Contender Asia here in the States, It would really elevate the profile of Muay Thai in the States. My Muay Thai has got to be good for at least 100 hundred signatures… Come on guys.
