there is another cool alternative out there. Look for my Forcefield…really personalized stuff, top quality…the brazilian crowd already knows them, now they are in the US.

I bought mine of kombatmouthguards really quick service,nice fit aswell much easier to breath with rather than the biol and bite, only about £30

I got a custom mouth guard a while back, cost about £30 ($60??) as trainer got the dentist to the club so got a group discount. But mine is utter crap, i cant wear it as the top of it scrapes my gum when i take it in and out! I know i sound like a pussy – but it seriously hurts! Saying that every1 else can wear theirs fine, so maybe i was unlucky/have a strange shaped mouth! So i just stick with the old boil and bite now!

A common argument that custom mouth guard companies like to make is that $100 is still much, much cheaper than the price you would have to pay to fix any damage to your teeth. Personally, I find this to be a great argument, and I’m a tad inclined to do my best possible to protect myself from losing any hotness from damaged teeth. :)

The customs are probably better as they should fit much better than the old heat and form into your mouth- mouth guards. That being said, I just don’t feel like shelling out $100 for my cavity invested mouth.

As for custom mouth guards in general, the consensus is that it’s definitely worth the money. They fit just as tight as a retainer would, so you don’t have to clench your teeth to keep them in. Also, there are a handful of scientific publications that conclude that custom mouth guards provide superior protection as well as comfort.
